Small roll conveyors as well as light roll conveyors are designed for gravity-based transportation of packaged goods. Generally, light roll conveyors are used for that purpose; only in a few cases where packaged goods are very small, so called "small roll conveyors" would make sense. SInce the packaged good needs to be placed on minimum three rolls in order to guarantee a smooth conveyance, the packaged good must be at least of the following minimum length:
- 75 mm for small roll conveyors with roll diameter of 20 mm
- 115 mm for small roll conveyors with roll diameter of 30 mm
Our small roll conveyors are available with roll diameter of 20 and 30 mm and with three different roll types each : made of plastic, steel and aluminium . Plastic rolls are standard as they are cheap and rust-free:
