Light roll conveyors

Light roll conveyors are designed for gravity-based transportation of packaged goods . In this case, slope should be approximately 2-5% - depending on weight and type of the packaged good.

In order to guarantee a smooth transportation, the packaged good shuld be placed on minum three rolls; hence, the required roll division (meaning the space between the rolls) is calculated as: Smallest packaged good length divided by three. Conveyor width should always be a bit broader as the width of the packaged good.

Our light roll conveyors are available with three different roll types: made of plastic, steel or aluminium - plastic rolls can be considered as standard as they are cheap and do not rust.
